Financial tools topic of Extension program

Better equip yourself with tools and resources to help others define their financial goals, use credit wisely, manage debt effectively and access appropriate community resources by attending a 4-hour virtual program featuring the “Your Money, Your Goals” toolkit developed by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

The February 23 program, facilitated by ISU Extension and Outreach, is designed for service providers, volunteers, clergy members or anyone interested in helping others take steps towards financial stability and self-sufficiency. With the $35 registration fee, participants will learn about and practice using financial tools, as well as develop strategies and skills to begin financial conversations and access appropriate community resources.
